Greying hair is very much a natural part of aging. However, it is the most flattering color that many women are trying their best to get rid of the grey locks and revive the youthful colors of their hair.
About three years ago, one lady was getting tired of having to return to the salon every three to four weeks just to get her hair dyed darker again. So, she visited a salon in California and this establishment belonged to colorist Jack Martin. She did not want to be bothered by her hair color and after brainstorming with the colorist, both of them agreed to color the woman’s hair silver to accentuate her true hair color.
The result was phenomenal! Jack loved his work so much that he proudly showed it off on Instagram. The look inspired other female clients, and they also decided to get Jack’s help in embracing their true hair colors. These are the happy women who, through Jack’s help, learned to love their locks and the natural color brought by aging. They are absolutely sensational!
1) Woman Of Steel
Jack typically asks his clients to come in with their grey roots at a minimum of 3-4 inches so he can analyze which grey hue he should use in the blend. It’s a great way of keeping true to your natural hair color while also shining all its best qualities. Afterward, it’s a ten-hour process and the results look incredibly stunning.
2) Silver Waves
In this pattern, Jack recreates a wavy representation of a waterfall. He keeps it predominantly with a dark tone in order to ease the blending of the grey with her already dark hair. It’s a great, sophisticated look to show that grey is indeed the new black.

This is just another fantastic outcome after a 10-hour session with Jack. You can see the noticeable trends in her hair start to look healthier and more organized with her roots. Jack described this as a result of bleaching the entire head and then applying blender 20 vol until he could finally achieve the pale, yellow blonde look.

It took Jack 9 hours to complete this beauty of a transformation. He started the process by removing the original artificial dye for 40 minutes, then applied a color extractor for 2o minutes, and finally had to make sure he applied the right amount of color charm to achieve the proper hue of grey on her tips. The result was nothing short of spectacular!

Although the tone blends impeccably with her roots, the actual grey color does not seem to permeate all her hair as other streaks of color are visible. Jack lightened the whole head in foils and colored the hair by taking very thin sections in lots of foils using the extra blonde by Oligopro. He then combined a tone of platinum and silver to come up with the resulting blend. All in all, it was one of his shorter sessions only reaching about 7 hours of completion time.
